It began with the simple idea that humans are naturally awkward and quirky, and thus, the cards that we give each other should be as well. How Awcard was born in July of 2012 in Birmingham, Alabama. It was a water birth.

Since then, Awcards have been sent all around the world, have been featured on Buzzfeed and Reddit, and have made at least 1,237 people feel awkward in some way. Next year, we're shooting for 4,598.
